Lisa Samson has been writing for over fifteen years and is the author of seventeen novels, including the Christy Award winning Songbird and the Christy Award nominated Tiger Lillie. Publisher’s Weekly Magazine calls her “one of CBA’s best novelists.” While not writing, chauffeuring three children, doing laundry, supervising kid’s homework or trying to keep up with Will, she cooks food at the Catholic Action Center, a local ministry to the homeless.

Will Samson is a PhD student in sociology at the University of Kentucky where he is working on research in the areas of sustainability and Christian community. He, his wife, novelist Lisa Samson, and their family are participants in the life of Communality, a missional Christian community in Lexington, KY. In a nearly 20–year career Will has worked as a Republican political consultant, a corporate CEO and has held various positions in the world of technology, as well as serving many years bi–vocationally as the teaching pastor at a church plant. He holds an MS in Information Systems from The George Washington University and a BA from Liberty University. Will serves on the coordinating group of Emergent Village, is on the Board of Advisors at Relational Tithe and is an active participant in The Social Redemption Network. Will and his wife are the authors of the upcoming book, Justice in the Burbs. He maintains an active blog that was rated as one of the Top Ten Emerging Church blogs by Worship Leader Magazine.
